And He calls us to worship before the win. This message reminds us that faith isn’t the absence of fear—it’s trusting God when the odds don’t add up. Ultimately, Gideon points us to Jesus, the greater Deliverer, who won the greatest victory not through power, but through surrender. The cross looked like weakness—but it was the triumph of God’s love over sin and death. When we walk by faith, even when it doesn’t make sense, we make room for God to move in unmistakable ways.
