At Island Christian Church, our mission is to equip people to seek Jesus and find connection, purpose, and peace. As part of this, we are sending our students out on the mission field to find their purpose in Christ.
There are two trips this year. One is a domestic trip to Kentucky for students entering 8th - graduating 12th and the other is an international trip to Nicaragua for students entering 9th - graduating 12th. Both trips are an impactful opportunity for students to engage their faith through service. Read below for more information about each trip.
MISSIONS TRIP TO: Lynch, Kentucky
Island Christian is partnering with Touch the World to minister in Lynch, Kentucky. Our team will have the opportunity to assist with various home repair projects, participate in the preparation and delivery of meals to families in the neighborhood, go on prayer walks, and build relationships with the community.

MISSIONS TRIP TO: Managua, Nicaragua
Island Christian is partnering with Messiah's Outreach to minister in Managua, Nicaragua. Our team will have the opportunity to minister to young students that we sponsor as a church with VBS-type activities, participate in outreach to the elderly and people with special needs, and work on projects for building maintenance.

Grades: entering 9th - graduating 12th
Cost: $2,079 ($100 deposit) There will be fundraising opportunities.
If you are interested in serving in either Kentucky or Nicaragua this summer, fill out an application by February 27th. Spots are limited. Applications will be reviewed and students and leaders will be contacted regarding the decision. Students and leaders who are selected for the trip will then begin the process to register, fundraise, and train.
